Collection 02: ‘She Speaks’ – Dressing the Power of Women”
This new collection is close to my heart because it’s not just inspired by fabric or fashion. It’s inspired by women. Their strength. Their softness. Their voice.
I’m proud to introduce Collection 02: She Speaks.
Every design in this line carries a story, some personal, some imagined, all rooted in what it means to move through the world as a woman who refuses to shrink herself.
“She Walks Boldly”
“She Speaks” explores the duality of femininity: delicate and bold, emotional and sharp, soft and immovable.
Design elements like asymmetry, exaggerated sleeves, sharp bodices, and full skirts echo this tension—and resolution. I named pieces after women I admire:
- The “Ngozi” Dress – Long-sleeved wrap with split hem, named for the strength in silence.
- The “Amaka” Blouse – Dramatic sleeves, inspired by expressive storytellers.
- The “Lola” Gown – Soft chiffon and structured bustier, for the woman who holds contrast beautifully.
“Mood, Muse, Message”
Fashion is often treated as silent a surface thing. But I see it differently.
Clothing can speak for you before you do.
“She Speaks” gives that language back to African women. Not in loud declarations but in quiet strength.
This is not just a lookbook. It’s a movement in cloth.
